Hartford hollow plastic balls are
an excellent solution for chemical processing applications. In pollution control,
they are used for vapor containment, scrubber packing and wastewater
treatment. They are ideal wherever there's a need to control misting,
evaporation, odors, fumes, liquid levels or contamination. Hollow plastic
balls are also a valuable tool for minimizing the loss of heat or chill,
and for saving both energy and chemical costs.
Hartford balls are manufactured under strict quality standards.
We specialize in polypropylene (PP) balls, which meet FDA requirements
and have exceptional performance properties that include high
resistance to solvents, acids and bases.
Hollow plastic balls from Hartford are also low weight, fatigue-resistant,
and, because they are autoclavable, are suitable for medical and
biohazardous applications. They also have a wide temperature range:
maximum operating temperature is 275°F; minimum temperature
is 32°F.

Application:
Flow-oriented, 3-ball Incentive Spirometer.
Each of the three hollow plastic balls differs slightly in
diameter and weight to provide a visual measurement of
breathing capacity. Special attention is given
to diameter and weight specifications.
Manufacturing Process:
Injection molding and sonic welding of halves;
finish grinding to specification.
